Verlinden Modeling Magazine Vol.8 No.1

I started with the car, which I freely admit is not an accurate representation of a specific vehicle, but the Peugeot-like compact sufficed to make the diorama work. Fitting six resin figures into a single car requires a degree of artistic license and I make no apologies to the purists out there. This one is for fun! It was built from sheet plastic and a lot of epoxy putty with clear styrene for windows. The wheels and tires I found in my scrapbox. I am constantly looking for anything that I can use in 120mm dioramas and anything I find that even remotely looks that scale goes into my stash. The interior is rather stark as I needed all the space possible to fit those six figures inside. All six were converted from the VP Panzergrenadier France (0476). using photos from a National Geographic magazine as reference. A lot of arms, legs and heads were used to give distinct personalities to what was originally the same figure.

Model Military International 38 - 06 2009

James May, aka Captain Slow, found himself the perfect British vehicle when he spent the day filming the museum's new television commercial. The presenter looked perfectly at home in the turret of a Chieftain tank as he explored the 200 military vehicles on display at the Bovington-based museum. The Tank Museum holds many fond childhood memories for the TV star; just one of the reasons he so generously donated his time to this worthy cause. "I've been coming to The Tank Museum since I was about five. Back then it was just a load of tanks parked outside and all a bit rusty" remarked James. "It's changed a lot since then. It has become quite posh for a tank museum. It's refurbished, new building, more tanks, more interactive stuff, and as a fan of old machines I think it's really good, well worth a look."

Steel Masters No.86

Les décorations retenues sont au nombre de deux : un véhicule des Gardes de l'Armée Rouge et un autre de l'armée est-allemande, tous deux dans les années soixante-dix. Les livrées sont intégralement vert armée et toutes les couleurs sont référencées par le fabricant dans la gamme ModelMaster. La planche de décals est de qualité moyenne avec un film mat assez voyant et surtout d'une très grande friabilité, un de nos 185 blancs de la tourelle s'étant désagrégé lors de la pose. Malgré les petites réserves émises en préambule et touchant surtout à des points de détails, ce BTR 60 ICM est une très jolie maquette, peut-être pas destinée au grand public (nombre de pièces oblige), disponible de surcroît à un prix avantageux et à laquelle Je nombre incroyable d'utilisateurs de BTR-60 de par le monde ouvre d'innombrables possibilités de mise en scène et de camouflages tous plus attrayants les uns que les autres.

Super Model 06 2007

W roku 1914 berlińska wytwórnia Hansa und Bran-denburgische Flugzeu-gwerke rozpoczęła produkcję samolotu w układzie dwupłata z dwuosobową załogą o nazwie roboczej FD. Konstruktorem był inż. Ernest Heinkel. Maszyna oznaczała się dobrymi własnościami w locie i łatwością pilotażu. Pierwotnie wojsko zamierzało przyjąć samolot na wyposażenie, nadano mu oznaczenie B-l, jednak zastosowanie ograniczono do 10 sztuk wykorzystanych do szkolenia pilotów na przyfabrycznym lotnisku. Resztę ze 173 wyprodukowanych maszyn sprzedano lotnictwu CK Austro - Węgier, gdzie również podjęto produkcję licencyjną, w ramach której wyprodukowano dalszych 408 egzemplarzy. Samoloty zakupione od Niemców otrzymały numer typu 05 i 06, a wyprodukowane w austriackiej wytwórni K.u.k. Fliegerarsenal Fi-schamend 75, 76, 176, 276, 77, 78, 278, 79. B-l był podstawowym samolotem szkolnym w lotnictwie austro - węgierskim.
