Model Magazine International 167 - 09 2009


At the end of last year, Italeri launched their kit of the light Italian tank L6/40, the first model of this type made in injection plastic. I must admit to a weakness for such small and rare vehicles, and shortly after buying it, I began assembly - in the following article you can share my experience with this little thing... Italeri presents the kit in a very colourful box with a beautiful box art. Inside, we have six sprues with nice looking parts. A small photo-etched set includes some necessary parts (such the exhaust shield) to give the model more realism. Furthermore, we find a booklet with historical pictures, technical drawings, and many pictures of the L6/40 at the Kubinka museum in a 'walk around' style and at least five full colour paint schemes. This is lot of background information, and so you can quickly get on with the building, without spending too much energy searching on the web...
