Military in Scale 08 1994

FIGURINES AND ACCESSORIES: Some of the figurines had to undergo major horrific surgery in order to obtain realistic figurines. In nearly all cases I had to change the heads of the plastic figurines with ones from after-market products, which are much better carved and have more lifelike expressions. The dead female VC lying in the bushes is a case in fact. Her feet, hands, arms, legs and head all received alterations, or transformations of one sort or another. The metal and resin figurines merely changed heads for a "different look" or arms for a different pose. For the most part it was only a matter of exchanging between the individual pieces. Under wildlife; the piglet is from Tamiya as are the birds (chicks with leadfoil tails and sanded down breasts)in the nest( putty on the head of a Bic rolled in and then in paint brush bristles! photo 25). The foreground and the serpent(a bongare) coiled Milliput. Special weapons came from a Verlinden Soviet small arms pack, Tamiya ACAV and Command sets. The shotgun shells on the floor of the boat and their bag were scratched, as was the pirates flag a bit of creative fantasy. The ration boxes are from Pre-Size/SMA.
